Welcome to Room 1, fp Music Academy’s internet-connected, audio-video enabled rentable event center!
Rentable Event Space!
Room 1 is Music151’s tech-forward, multi-use event space. This adaptable and modern venue features 1040 sq ft of entirely accessible and mobility-friendly neutral space – with a no-step-entry from a concrete parking lot – suitable for any small event, party, meeting, seminar, concert, activity, or practice space. Room 1 has a capacity of more than 50 guests and boasts a variety of technological amenities, available upon request, for your convenience. Room 1 has tables and chairs available at no additional cost and a private gender-inclusive family-friendly restroom with baby-changing capability. You can bring your own catering. Plus, being right off the highway this venue is easily accessible from any direction, and modern lodging and dining options are a mere five-minute drive away!
There is a full-size refrigerator/freezer in the venue that is available for your use. A microwave oven is available upon request. You are welcome to bring crock-pots.

Costs
The basic room rate is $40/hour, and that includes tables and chairs. You can get a discount if you do not need the tables and chairs.
Optional Amenities
Room 1 is equipped with a variety of technological amenities, including an audio/video/TV/computer system with a built-in 135 in screen and top-of-the-line smart projector, high-quality built-in speakers, portable microphones, and a moveable video camera. You can play your favorite music, videos, slideshows, YouTubes, Spotify, subscription sporting events, or broadcast television during your event – you can even do some karaoke! Also available are an overhead door that can be opened during pleasant weather to increase lighting and ambiance, a plug-in for a food truck, an alcohol permit, musical instrument rentals, and neutral divider/backdrop curtains. All of these features make Room 1 the ideal venue for a variety of events, including:
Meetings
With a broad range of technological amenities, Room 1 is an ideal venue to host business meetings, religious services, or classes. A particularly useful function of the technology is the ability to seamlessly connect through Zoom or other video conferencing platforms. This built-in capability makes hosting hybrid events a breeze.

Parties
Even if your event doesn’t require business technology, Room 1’s neutral modern backdrop will still make for a perfect canvas to decorate to your specifications. Room 1 is a fantastic venue to host parties of all types- graduations, birthdays, baby showers, retirement parties- even small weddings. Room 1 is a practical and affordable place to make your dream event come to life. Plus, if you add our audio/video technology, you can bring faraway or shut-in guests right into your party!
Exercise sessions
Host your next exercise class here! With plenty of room to spread out, a carpeted floor, and an audio/video system you can excel with your yoga, dance, or exercise sessions!
Performances
Set up your next performance in Room 1! Your stage can be positioned as you like – as a concert hall, cathedral, or in-the-round – and the room will give you an intimate setting for your performer(s).
Vendor Fairs and Exhibitions
Run your next vendor fair or expo in Room 1! The room configuration can give you space for 6-10 vendors plus a snack area. With plenty of electricity plug-ins and free WiFi, we can minimize the complexity of an event space in hosting a vendor fair.
Other events
If you can dream it, we can host it. Room 1 can be booked for short hourly time-slots or for all-day events. The entire space is on one level, handicap-accessible and family-friendly, making it highly adaptable for a wide variety of uses.

Our internet-connected capability with a 135″ screen, integrated audio system, and moveable camera means that you can host events that include people who may not be in the area. Imagine: your relatives in Texas can attend your birthday party or your recital! You can meet your corporate colleagues across the country! You can share your baby shower with relatives who live in a nursing home! You can host a seminar with an expert who lives anywhere!
And within the room, you can have music, videos, Spotify, or YouTubes running while you celebrate. And on nice days you can open the overhead door to bring the outdoors in (and yes, when it’s closed it’s sealed up, insulated, and comfortable in the coldest winter – without a hint of a draft)! Rental Rates
Music151’s Room 1 is an affordable space. Our pricing adjusts to your needs.
(NOTE: Price increase coming April 1 – book your space now!)
The base rent for Room 1 is $40/hour. This includes five 8′ tables, two 6′ side tables, and seating for more than 50 people. You can get a discount if you don’t need the tables and chairs.
You can bring in your own catering.
To this base rent, you can add on the use of the A/V system, freestanding curtains, musical instruments, extended hours, an open garage door, use of the 220v RV hookup (if you want a food truck, for example), and permission to bring your own alcoholic beverages.
We can even set up and take down the tables and chairs if you wish!
You can also get a discount if you would like to rent Room 1 on a recurring basis.
